Submission Guidelines for Authors

International Journal of Digital Media, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IJDIE) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality scholarly research. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below before submitting manuscripts.

Types of Manuscripts

International Journal of Digital Media, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IJDIE) publishes various types of scholarly manuscripts under the following categories:

  • Original research article: Detailed and quality studies (experimental, numerical, computational, theoretical) reporting of original research.
  • Review: Comprehensive overviews of specific topics.
  • Technical report: Descriptions of specific procedures, techniques, or methodologies.
  • Letter: Brief reports of significant findings.

Article Structure

  • Title: Title should be concise, informative, and should not be too long. It should avoid using acronyms, unless they are universally known, such as IBM, NASA, HP, etc.
  • Authorship: List all the names of all authors following the manuscript template. It is necessary to put the (*) to the name(s) of the corresponding author(s).
  • Affiliations: Provide institutional affiliations for all authors, including the city and country names. Do not put academic positions such as Dean or PhD Scholar in the affiliation. Use full institution names, for example, National University of Singapore rather than NUS.
  • Correspondence: Include the email address(es) of the corresponding author(s).
  • Abstract: The abstract should be within 300 words in one paragraph. It should state the key contribution of the manuscript and should not contain citations, figures, or tables.
  • Keywords: Please list up to five keywords separated by semicolons. The keywords should be in Bold and Italics.

Manuscript Preparation

Currently, authors are required to format their manuscripts according to the template suggested by the journal. The handling efficiency and timeline depend significantly on adherence to the prescribed format.

  • Templates: Please refer the template provided Download Sample PDF
  • Suggested Font: Times New Roman.
  • Font Size: Headings (14 points) and regular text (12 points).
  • Line Spacing: 1.15 points.
  • Language: All manuscripts, including references, must be written in English and professionally edited. Translated versions of non-English phrases should be included where applicable.

Article Lengths

  • Original Research Article: Up to 8,000 words.
  • Review: Up to 10,000 words.
  • Technical Report: Up to 5,000 words.
  • Letter: Up to 1,500 words.
  • Note to Editor: Up to 1,000 words.
  • Abstract: The abstract should be within 300 words.

Manuscript Sections

All sections until conclusion should be numbered Except the Abstract .

  • Abstract: The abstract should consist of brief information about the research in not more than 250 - 300 words. the maximum keywords to be used is 5 only.
  • Introduction: It is necessary to provide the background, comprehensive literature review by citing several relevant, recent and impactful papers to arrive at the research objectives and justify the novelty of the work. Authors may separate the introduction and literature review sections.
  • Materials and Method: Authors are required to comprehensively describe the materials and methods adopted in the manuscript. Details regarding samples, experimental conditions, parameters, and synthesis steps should be provided.
  • Results and Discussion: Authors should provide insightful explanations and discussion of all figures and tables. This section may have several numbered subsections.
  • Conclusion: Authors should provide a summary of their key findings. Conclusions presented only as bullet points are not acceptable. It is preferable to have a single paragraph without figures and tables.

Additional Requirements

  • CRediT Authorship Contribution Statement: This section should not be numbered. Specify contributions using the CRediT taxonomy and clearly indicate each author's contribution.
  • Declaration of Competing Interest: This section should not be numbered. Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
  • References: This section should not be numbered. A minimum of 30 references is required. APA citation style must be followed.
